The most convenient way to get to Kilimanjaro is by plane. A couple of international airports serve the region, including Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha and Moshi. If you organize a trip with us, we will arrange transportation to and from the airport as part of the package.

The best time to climb Kilimanjaro is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. This time of year has good weather conditions with less rain and snow. The temperature is mild enough for an enjoyable climb but not too cold that it will become challenging. It’s also important to remember that the altitude can make it colder no matter what season you’re climbing in. So be sure to prepare with appropriate clothing and gear.
